What to include in your first equipment inquiry

Explain the production problem

Begin with what you need to make and why the current process is changing. You might be introducing a new part, replacing an existing machine or exploring unattended handling. State the main constraint in your own words. If you have not selected a machine family, describe the application and let the first conversation establish which options deserve attention.

Share the information you already have

Useful starting points include the material, approximate component dimensions, intended quantity and a target project date. Distinguish a firm requirement from a planning estimate. Leave unknown details open rather than entering invented numbers. If you already have equipment in mind, select those models so the inquiry carries the same context as your comparison.

Attach one useful reference

For this demo, the inquiry accepts one optional PDF, JPG or PNG of up to 10MB. A drawing excerpt, part photograph or short project brief can be enough to start the discussion. Check that you are permitted to share the material and that its revision is clear. The form is not a native CAD review service. If several files or other formats are needed, agree the appropriate exchange method during follow-up.

Make the follow-up practical

Provide the contact name, company and a reachable email address, plus a phone number if that suits your preferred follow-up. Explain which questions you want answered first: configuration, integration scope, information needed for a quote or a proposed evaluation.
